Norte Beer: PhotoBlocker

Del Campo Saatchi & Saatchi brings us Photoblocker for Norte Beer in Buenos Aires. In order to protect your night out from ending up on facebook and getting you into trouble, they created the first intelligent beer cooler, which not only keeps your beer at the ideal temperature, but can also detect camera and cell phone flashes, reflecting back a powerful flash that instantly destroys the photo.

The cooler has 4 sensors and 4 flashes in order to give 360-degree protection, keeping anyone nearby safe from the threat of cameras and social network tagging.
The beer coolers were distributed throughout the main bars in Northern Argentina.

Old Spice: MANta Claus

Navarro Correas Wine: Art with Wine

Interactive billboards are generally well received and the above from Navarro Correas wines and ad agencies Leo Burnett Colombiana / Alpha245, Bogota, Colombia is no exception.

They recreated Van Gogh’s self portrait using 1000 acrylic cells and an automated robotic mechanism that filled the cells with 1 of 6 different shades of wine. To create the image people could choose a cell and sent a text message, the robot then filled that cell with the relevant wine colour. Wonderful.

Nokia Lumia 800: 3D Projection

Another day, another large 3D building projection. This time from Nokia for the launch of their new Lumia 800 Windows Phone. The projection was done along to a live set from deadmau5 and created an amazing light show at Millbank Tower, London. Each of the 120 metre high building’s 800 windows were covered with vinyl as 16 powerful projectors, stationed 300 metres away on the other side of the river, beamed 3D images onto the structure.
