Peru Tourism: Bringing Peru to Nebraska

This is one of the best tourism campaigns I have ever seen. In order to promote Peru, Y&R, Peru bought Peru’s culture, food, traditions, and more to Peru, Nebraska in the USA.

They took over the small town and filmed their exploits showing how they helped makeover the local towns people into true Peruvians.

Watch the documentary to see it all at work, its long but its worth it. Stunning!

Axe: Multiple Girlfriends App

Stunning work from Ogilvy Tunisia for Axe deodorant. They created a Facebook app that uses the relationship status update feature and allows you to be in a “relationship” with 100’s of girls at once. When people click on relationship update link it takes you to an Axe FB app page and allows you to install the custom relationship app yourself.

Coca-Cola: 125th Anniversary Building Projection

To help celebrate their 125th anniversary Coca-Cola have set up a ginormous 3D projection on all sides of their Atlanta Headquarters! The results are incredible, I’m not sure if this is the largest 3D projection ever, but I wouldn’t be surprised (It rises 26 stories high on all 4 sides of the building, more than 200,000 Square feet of projection surface!). For now they are displaying images of Coca-Cola through time, however they plan to project up fans pictures, tweets, and more in the coming days.

To see some of the other things Coke are up for their anniversary go to visit their worlds largest facebook group here, or go to www.coca-cola.com

Great work to get it all set up by Obscura Digital.

Pictionary: Photo Booth

Thanks to Julián Gutiérrez from Ogilvy Colombia for sending me this above great activation for Pictionary. Instead of taking photographs, they cunningly hid a cartoonist in the back making quick drawings of the people inside.

Ogilvy Colombia are also the agency behind the great HotWheels loop billboard from last month.
