Audi South Africa recently negotiated a contract with the Gauteng Police Flying Squad to supply them with 100 Audi S3 Sportbacks to help with the fight against crime.

Fokofpolisiekar is the name of a local popular band and translates to English as “Fuckoffpolicecar”. Am pretty sure these S3’s can go f**k fast.

Great work from 140BBDO, Cape Town, for Mercedes. To help advertise the new Mercedes CL63 AMG they created an interactive print ad that worked with smart phones and placed it in the South African version of Car Magazine.

Wonderful ambient campaign from Budweiser. They managed to combine Nightlife, football, and pool to create PoolBall! to complete the game they even installed a mini bar under the table. I want one.

The ads are being put up in several prime spots around London. Am surprised at how few brands/agencies have yet to take advantage of this huge occasion.

Olvarit: Michelin Starred Baby Food

Brilliant case study clip from Olvarit Baby foods.To promote their new range of healthy meat and fish baby foods they organised a babies-only food tasting at the Michelin-starred De Pastorie restaurant in Belgium. While the kids were fed and entertained by a man playing a toy piano, the parents were given baby food tips by the restaurants top chef Carl Wens.

BMF: Help Heal Japan

Help Heal Japan

Melbourne based ad agency BMF have launched an innovative fundraising initiative to help provide aid for disaster stricken Japan.
The idea is simple, when in a Japanese restaurant, customers will be asked to donate $2 for the use of their chopsticks, creating a simple mechanism to raise more funds. Kits of posters and collecting tins have been made and sent out and used in over 100 restaurants across 5 states!

All proceeds go to the Australian Red Cross Japan and Pacific Disaster Appeal 2011
