Yesterday South Africa’s most popular beer brand Carling Black Label launched an innovative campaign called “Be The Coach” where the fans will get to choose the team players for a match between two of South Africa’s largest football teams, The Orlando Pirates, and The Kaizer Chiefs. To pick the squad all users have to do is buy a Black Label and follow the instructions using USSD on their phones to vote for the team members and positions.
The selected teams will play a match on the 30th of July at the FNB Stadium in Johannesburg. Voting opens on the 1st of June.

After last nights season 22 finale they gave fans the chance to determine a part of the show, namely should Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel hook up, or break up in the next season. Nando’s has just released the first of six ads that will reveal the story of the dubious history of their unique Peri-Peri sauce. The campaign is from Black River FC and to celebrate the release of the first ad they even sent me a stunning chilli plant (see pic below)!
