Malaysia shoe company Shoes, Shoes, Shoes and Ogilvy Action, Kuala Lumpur, came up with a brilliant campaign called Show Dating. All girls had to do was buy a of shoes and the they would get a man for free! The agency teamed up with Lunch Actually (Asia’s premier lunch dating company), men could offer discounts on select shoes and then if the girls decided to take the discount they had to go on a date with the man offering it. Getty Images: From Love To Bingo

Patient research work involving more than 5 thousand photographs resulted in the above 1 minute film that Almap BBDO created to advertise Getty Images (the world leading image database). The film shows 873 images, that’s 15 images per second, just enough speed to transform the series into a video that, without any text, tells a beautiful story. All photos, without any exceptions, are from the Getty Images archives. They also created an iPad app where people could browse and download any of the images.

VW: The Original Click

Wonderful work for VW Original Parts by AlmapBBDO, Brazil. They took out a targeted YouTube banner campaign that directed people from imitation copies of viral videos, to the actual originals! Simple, but great.

Febreze: Live Commercial

After a series of ads showing blindfolded people thinking that dirty rooms where fresh scented paradises, some viewers simply didn’t believe the Febreze Breathe Happy commercials were completely real. With this in mind Grey New York set up real people from the street to describe what they smelled in a smelly seafood shipping container right in the middle of NYC.

Nissan Leaf: A World Without Petrol

Cerveza Salta: Rugbeer

In Salta province, the New Zealand of Argentina, rugby is bigger than football. Salta Beer created the above unique experience where people could tackle a vending machine and get a beer. More great work by Ogilvy, Argentina.

OptiCentro: Anti-myopia Mirror

Great print work by DraftFCB, Lisbon. In order to publicise optometrists OptiCentro, they installed blurred vinyl mirrors in lifts with glasses that only showed clean mirrors in the frames.

Sprite: Sprite Shower

Great outdoor activation work by Ogilvy, Sao Paulo, Brazil, for Sprite. They made a giant shower disguised as a Sprite dispenser placed in one of the most crowded beaches in Brazil, where people could have a cold refreshing shower during the Brazilian summer. More then 1,500 showers were had everyday, together with a sampling around the machine.

Hellmann’s: Recipe Receipt

Wonderful innovative retail incentive for Hellmann’s mayonnaise by Ogilvy Brazil. They created and installed software on 100 till points over 3 months at a major supermarket. The software created recipes based on peoples purchases when they bought Hellmann’s mayonnaise, these were then automatically printed on the receipts. In store signs told people about the activation, and sales promptly rose by 44%.
