Possibly the best Anti-Smoking activation I have ever seen. The work is from Ogilvy Thailand for the Thai Health Foundation, and plays not on sickening images or forced fear, but rather plain self reasoning.
The phones come in matte black, embossed with the famous Batman logo (See above) and also come presented in limited edition packaging. On top of that, the phone comes pre-loaded with the Nokia Dark Knight Rises app, which will provide you with exclusive trailers (see below), wallpapers and ringtones. There’s also a Foursquare based game going by the name of “Claim Gotham City,” in which you choose to be on Batman or Bane’s side and check-in to claim spots around town.
I have been using a Windows Phone for almost a year now and I must say at present it’s still my phone operating system of choice. The social integration of facebook, twitter, LinkedIn, and foursquare is brilliant, the phone is fast, and the battery last more than a day! something I have yet to experience with a proper smart phone. Below are some of the key specs.
Pretty brave move for an airline to tell people not to fly, but that’s exactly what British Airways has done with their above latest TV ad for the London Olympics. The ad tell britons to stay home and support Team GB. Great work from BBH. (Bonus: BA even let you edit this ad with your own street address, just go to http://taxi.ba.com/ )
Wow, Canadian ad Agency Cundari, Toronto, have just managed to produce one of the best car ads I have ever seen for BMW. The ad recreates footage of a bullet shooting through objects, but in this case its a new BMW M5!. Enjoy
Great insight and work from Ogilvy Action Taiwan for Philips. Over 73% of Taiwanese men think that grooming is just about cleanness, preferring a clean-shaven look over any type of beard and stubbles. In order to increase penetration of Philips grooming kits, Ogilvy created the "Low-tech Augmented Reality Mugs" to spark interest and elevate any possible look they may have after grooming
Brave move from McDonalds in Canada! To answer a question that was posted on the McDonalds Q&A site, namely "Why does your food look different in the advertising than what is in the store?" the brand decided to film the above behind the scenes clip of how they shoot the food. Bravo McDonalds, simple but clever.
Great work by FoxP2 Cape Town for the DNA Project. Every year in South Africa thousands of criminals escape conviction due to people disturbing crime scene evidence. The DNA Project set out to educate the public never to interfere with a crime scene. FoxP2 created a 6x8m canvas out of small white stones. Onto this they spray painted the giant mugshot of a criminal. As people walked over the installation the criminal’s identity became more and more unrecognisable.
