McDonalds: How to Make Big Mac Sauce

The team over at McDonalds Canada are answering customers questions again. This time in the name of transparency they show us how to make Big Mac sauce + how to make a home made Big Mac! Am so tempted to try this.

Nissan LEAF: The World’s Cheapest Taxi Rank

Fuel prices are getting ridiculous, so to help publicise the fuel saving electric Nissan LEAF advertising agency AKQA came up with the above brilliant activation.

Because the LEAF is an all electric car you can fill it up for under £2. It’s six times cheaper than petrol, so AKQA created the worlds cheapest taxi Rank. All people needed to do was tweet their destination with the hashtag #6Xcheaper, and then pay their hugely reduces fare (normally under 10 pence !)

Dodge Dart: How To Change Cars Forever

More great Wieden + Kennedy work, this time for the Dodge Dart. Great copywriting. Basically this car has to sell as the company has the house pretty much riding on it. Great ad, hopefully it works! (p.s. the car is the first co-made with Chrysler’s owners Fiat!).

Music by Jay-Z and Kanye West: “No Church in the Wild,”

P&G: London Olympics 2012 Kids

If you want to see what successful TV ads targeting mums look like, then look no further than Wieden + Kennedy, Portland, and their recent work for P&G for the London Olympics. Their last ad recently won 5 Cannes Lions, and now has over 5million view on YouTube. Above is their most recent effort, am sure this will do just as well for them.

Fantastic Delites: How Far Will You Go

Wonderful activation from Aussie snack company Fantastic Delites, and their ad agency BBDO. The installed the above interactive vending machine and then challenged people to see how far they would go and what they would do to get a free snack. Wish I had thought of this!

V Energy Drink: The V Motion Project

Great use of projection and a Kinect sensor for the above V energy drink activation in New Zealand. The Kinect sensors enabled people to create music through movement in Auckland. If you like the music you can download it for free at v.co.nz

Ad agency: Colenso BBDO, New Zealand

DC Shoes: Ken Block does San Francisco

DC Shoes are at it again with more crazy driving antics from Ken Block. This time they are playing on the roads of San Francisco. Watch the clip above to see some of the most impressive driving you will see this year.

Will be interesting to see if it does better than their hugley popular Hollywood themed on last year.

Adidas: Take The Stage

Incredibly well made TVC from ad agency Sid Lee for Adidas. The ad is for the upcoming 2012 British Olympics Team and features many of the athletes as they get ready for the pride, pain and performances that will mark one of the most important moments of their lives.

Volkswagen: Fast vs Fast

Volkswagen USA have challenged a Beat Boxer, Speed Talker, Rubik’s Cuber, and Speed Guitarist, to race Volkswagen cars around a track in order to pitch fast against fast. If you like the above Beat Boxer clip you can see the others by following the links below. (Work by Deutsch LA)

Virgin Mobile: Meet Doug Pitt

Very funny work from Euro RSCG for Virgin Mobile Australia. They have taken the rather unknown Doug Pitt, who happens to be the the real brother of  the slightly famous Brad Pitt, to show that Virgin Mobile’s plans are a great deal for anyone, whether you’re somebody or just a nobody like Doug. On the campaign website I particularly liked the line "Celebrity deals at celebrity brother prices." To find out more go to http://fairgobro.com.au
