Heart-warming work for Tamanna, a Lebanese non profit that grants the wishes of critically ill children. Together with Horizon Draftfcb they granted an extra special wish for an 8 year old called Carmen who suffers from Cancer. Carmen really wanted an iPad for Christmas but it was only August, so they bought Christmas early and set the above surprise for her on the 8th September. Enjoy.
Somersby Cider: The Somersby Store
Brilliant work for Somersby Cider by agency Fold7 in the UK. Somersby is the new cider brand from Carlsberg, and to help launch it they decided to compare it to another famous Apple product. Enjoy.

Nate Walsh: 1999 Toyota Camry ad
Possible one of the funniest print ad ever constructed for the internets, and it’s not even for a brand, or made by an agency. The ad was put together by a freelance copywriter called Nate Walsh and was posted to Craigslist in an attempt to sell his 1999 Toyota Camry. Enjoy
p.s. If you want to read a brilliant and quick Q&A about the ad from Nate please do click this link to AdFreak. Happy Easter everyone.
Star Trek: Quadrocopters Federation Logo
Paramount, in conjunction with Ars Electronica Futurelab & Ascending Technologies piggy backed on the WWF Earth Hour event in London last weekend by sending up 30 glowing automated quadrotors to create a Star Trek logo over London. The promotion was for the franchise’s latest film, Star Trek Into Darkness, nice idea just be sure to watch the clip in hires if you want to be able to see it properly. Am sure this will be just the first of many stunts featuring automated swam drones, am looking forward to the next one.
Volkswagen: Beetle Slowmercial
DDB Brussels found that local research showed that more than 1 out of 3 Belgians watch their favourite TV shows in delayed-viewing mode. Of those viewers about 80% prefer to skip commercial breaks. With that in mind DDB and Volkswagen came up with a creative solution that rethinks the standard TV ad format, they call it the ‘slowmercial’.

Create and share your own fun short movies at https://www.peanutgalleryfilms.com/.

WWF: Things to do in the dark
We (Ogilvy Cape Town) recently launched a new campaign for WWF’s Earth Hour (from 8.30-9.30pm on Saturday 23 March) called ‘Things To Do In The Dark’. The campaign is centred around celebrating Earth Hour in a fun and exciting way; making it an initiative that is accessible and something that all South Africans can get involved in.
A TV commercial (Above) print adverts (Below) and an interactive Facebook tab that enables users to find out exactly how and where they can celebrate and participate in Earth Hour support it.
Creative director at O&M CT, Jacques Massardo, says, "This year we decided to take a different approach to Earth Hour. It seems people know about Earth Hour and what it stands for, but lack real motivation to participate. Therefore, instead of Earth Hour feeling like a bit of a chore when we all sit in the dark without being able to do much, we wanted to make it more of a calendar event.
Opel Corsa: The first car model named after its owner
Interesting work from Gitam BBDO, Israel, for Opel. In order to help launch the new Opel Corsa they created the above interactive campaign allowing people online to create custom name badges for any Corsa cars they ordered.
