Nike: Possibilities (Just Do It 25th Anniversary ad)

Below is the 25 year celebration film of Nike’s  ‘Just Do It’ slogan. The campaign is called “Possibilities”, and pushes you to be a little faster, go a little higher, a little stronger, a little further. Incredible work from Wieden + Kennedy as always.

BBC Radio 2: Darkside Teaser

Watch a special animated trail for a new drama based on the themes of Pink Floyd‘s classic The Dark Side of the Moon album. The visuals have been created by Aardman Animations of Wallace and Gromit fame.
You can hear this fantastical story in full on Bank Holiday Monday 26 August 2013, 10pm, on BBC Radio 2 and at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b038xr3n

Microsoft Windows Phone / Nokia: The Recital

Am beginning to enjoy these new ads for Nokia Windows Phones from CP+B. As in the previous ads they mock apple and android device users in a pretty fun way. The ad shows the incredible new Nokia Lumia 1020 with a 41mp camera!. I just hope this helps them pick up some more market share.

MoneySuperMarket: Running With Cats

Ever wanted to see what running with cats would look like?  Well now you can thanks to this rather funny work from Mother, London for insurance firm www.moneysupermarket.com. Enjoy.

Polish Academy of Science: Polish Diacritics Campaign

Great campaign from Ogilvy&Mather, Warsaw for the Polish Academy of Science. Like most languages nowadays technology and the abbreviations that go with it are bastardising the Polish language. In Polish though this seems to be a particularly bad problem as you will see in the above case study.
Given the small budget, the results of the campaign are very impressive.

Niklas Roy; A “For Rent” sign that follows you

To help the Canadian city of Sherbrooke rent out some of its vacant shop space artist Niklas Roy created a “For Rent” sign that follows you.
Normally no one pays attention to signs like these, so to change that he rigged the sign onto a movable rail with a motor, then added a camera with motion tracking. When people walked passed the window the camera catches them, and the sign moves along with them. Simple, wonderful.

Interesting infographic put together by Guide, a company that has developed a platform that allows you to watch blogs much like you would a TV show.

Coca-Cola: Personal Billboard Road

Clever work from Coca-Cola Israel and local agency Gefen Team.
Following on with Coke’s  personalised label campaign they created a smart phone app that allowed you to type in your own name and see it on interactive Coke billboards.
Using geo-fence technology, whenever they approached Coke billboards they received a message to their smartphones, notifying them that their name was on the digital billboard coming up.
Nice use of interactive billboards, not sure about the driving while on the phone side of it though.

Adidas: Leo Messi speed of light

To help launch the new F50 Messi football boots Adidas got Leo Messi dressed up in a custom made suit fitted with a few hundred LED lights, and let him show off his skills. Although it’s a very tech filled concept the end result is something rather beautiful to watch.
