Great activation work by ad agency Vitro for ASICS shoes. The installation was put up for the ING New York City Marathon weekend, and featured a treadmill set up to roll at the same super fast pace of fast runner Ryan Hall. People had to see how long they could keep up with the pace. The best was around 10mins (2miles), Ryan runs that pace for 26 miles.
Pedigree: Billboard Walk
Smart work by Pedigree and DDB Brussels, they used buss stop billboards as markers to create city dog walk routes. The idea was based on the insight that dogs need at least one good walk a day to stay healthy and fit, so each walk was about 1-2.5km and lasted approx 30mins. People could also share pictures of their walks through Facebook and win gift hampers.
Volkswagen: The Beetle 3-track feat Walk Off The Earth
Clever interactive YouTube work by Volkswagen Canada, famous YouTube band Walk off the Earth, and ad agency Red Urban. Together they created the below interactive YouTube Music Video / Beetle ad. You can click between three different versions of the Walk Off The Earth song, “Gang of Rhythm”. Each version features a unique arrangement of the song, and a different Beetle to match: The Beetle GSR, The Beetle Convertible, and The Super Beetle.
Great work, they just seem to have missed adding a link to the actual cars so people can buy/test drive one…how did they miss that.
BMW: 360 Degree Interactive Ad
To help launch their new “i” cars, BMW have created a unique, interactive experience shot using fully immersive 360 degree technology. You control the story as you interact with the car, and discover more about the new BMW i range.
Watch the trailer below and they try it out for free on either iTunes or Google Play.
Work by WCRS, Mustard Films and Tool.
Lexus: Art is Motion
Nice idea by Lexus and a agency Happiness, Brussels. They teamed up with interactive experimental artist Sergio Albiac to create unique portraits of a driver based on his driving style.
Although I really like the concept personally I would have created an app for this so anyone could use it:- just select an image from your phone, and then the app uses GPS data to create the expressive artwork.
PlayStation: For The Players Since 1995
Forgot to share this wonderful ad for PlayStation 4 that shares their last almost 20 year of PlayStation gaming in 3 minutes. Random fact, in several European countries the generic name for gaming consoles now is PlayStation. Agency: PDH UK

Honda have just created the below impressive ad featuring a host of mind bending optical illusions. Last week Ray-Ban released a similar themed ad. The Honda ad was created for their new CR-V car and made by Mcgarrybowen, London,. Enjoy.
NAB: More Give, Less Take
In order to be noticed it helps to be different, NAB bank’s new ad is certainly different from other bank ads. The montage of great clips was put together by it’s Aussie agency Clemenger BBDO. Music is Janelle Monáe’s “Tightrope”.
Sony PlayStation: Perfect Day
Wonderful promotional ad for the new Playstation 4 from BBH, New York. A great example of music really helping to make the ad, Perfect Day by Lou Reed.
