EMDA Alzheimer Association: Wrong Movie

Great simple idea from ad agency: ACW Grey, Israel for the EMDA Israeli Alzheimer Association. To highlight Alzheimer’s awareness week they confused 1000’s of movie goers by switching the movies they were expecting to see with another one. After a short while they explained the switch. Brilliant work.

K-Swiss: Blades by Kenny Powers

Kenny Powers is back as the MF CEO of K-Swiss to introduce his magnum f***ing opus, the new K-Swiss new Blades trainers. The clip is almost 5 minutes long but its Friday so take the time to relax and revel in the fun from agency 72andsunny. (Beware strong language).

Intel Ultrabook™: Pop-up Theatre

The Ultrabook™ Pop-up Theatre is a series of live stunts uniquely choreographed by a team of 60 individuals. The Pop-Up teams made surprise appearances on the streets of Los Angeles, create a human digital wall made of Ultrabooks and transforming everyday locations into mini theatres.

PBN: Rehabilitation is Possible

Another day, another ad from us at Ogilvy Cape Town. This time the client was The Prison Broadcasting Network (PBN), basically they are a non-profit rehabilitation programme that teaches prisoners the skills to become employable when they are released. Over 80% of their trainees never go back to a life of crime. We conducted a simple experiment to see if people’s perceptions match up to reality.

BBC Knowledge: Human Season

To mark the launch of BBC Knowledge’s new informative “Human Season”, the channel erected a 22m long Ice sculpture in Sandton Square this past weekend, the statue spelled out “In the Sahara your body loses 1L of water an hour”, as the day went on the ice obviously melted. Good outdoor Black River FC.

Forever Wild: YouTube Interventions

It’s always nice to be able to feature work that I helped on at Ogilvy, especially when its for a good cause. Last year through an introduction from one of our other clients, Volkswagen, we started to help the Wilderness foundation raise awareness to help save the Rhinos. Above is what we did. Enjoy.

Ok Go: Chevy Sonic Music Video

Just in case any one missed this incredible music video co-lab between OK GO and Chevrolet I thought I’d better share it with you. Chevrolet helped OK GO set up the above music video using the new Chevy Sonic car, 1000 instruments, and over two miles of desert track. Incredible.
