Based on the insight that in general Parisians are some of the worst parallel parkers in the world, Ford decided to show off their new park assist feature in a very entertaining way. They rigged up two cars with sensors on the bumpers linked to a big screen, left a gap between them, and filmed the inevitable mayhem. Great work by Ogilvy Paris.
Kulula: Fourth Wife
Great local work by Kulula and King James. This weekend the above ad aired in national newspapers, and coincidently the SA president married his fourth wife!
Kulula says the offer is a uniquely South African response to pressures faced by larger families during these turbulent financial times. If you fly with your four wives, the fourth fly’s for free. The offer is open to all fourth wives when the family travels together on the Jo’burg to Cape Town route valid till the end of April.
Coca Cola: Share a Coke
Wonderful case study for Coca Cola from Ogilvy Australia. Last year in order to increase coke’s popularity they created a nationwide campaign where users could buy a coke with their name on it. 200 popular names were printed on the cans + mobile can naming units produced 378,000 fully customisable cans.
Coke: Hug Me Machine
Wonderful work by Coke, they created and installed an innovative vending machine that gives you a free Coke when people hug it in a specific way! The machine was installed at the National University of Singapore, see how it turned out above. Great Work from Ogilvy & Mather Singapore.
Nando’s: Options
Wonderful ad parody from Nando’s and their agency Black River FC. To understand the above clip you will need to have seen the original popular clever ad for Sanlam featuring Ben Kingsley by another local agency King James.
The World’s Most Downloaded Man
If you want to meet the worlds most downloaded man then look no further. The above short clip was filmed for Câmera Clara Photography and feature the stock image most downloaded man himself Jesper Bruun. Fun work from ad agency Filadélfia, Belo Horizonte, Brazil
Nando’s: Happy Birthday Mr President
Fantastic work from Nandos and their agency Black River FC for South Africa’s president Jacob Zuma’s (JZ) 70th birthday.
TNT: Bringing Drama to Belgium
One of the best pieces of work I have seen this year. Agency Duval Guillaume, recently created the above stunt for TV channel TNT to show how they do drama. Brilliant.

TicTac: The worst breath in the World
Hilarious flash mob work from Ogilvy Paris for Tic Tac mints. Really liked the part where the guy gets so scared he runs away!.
For those that cant speak French the clip starts off by saying basically that bad breath can do more damage than you think. Then at the end the line is “The small dose of fun that refreshes”.
