Uniball Pens: If Fonts Could Speak

Great local work from TBWA South Africa, for Uniball Pens. They created 3 video’s as seen below that show what fonts would sound like if they could read to you, showing why it’s better to write your letters with pen and paper. Nice.

Wonderful short film for the Red Cross made by ad agency Ageisobar, São Paulo and 8 crowd sourced artists.

Antarctica Beer: The Beer Turnstile

More great work from AlmapBBDO, Brazil for Antarctica Beer. During the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, they developed a Beer Turnstile. The turnstile encouraged people to take the train rather that drink drive after the carnival, all people needed for a free train ride was an empty Antarctica beer can. Via optical reading, the can was scanned and the subway turnstile opened for free. They even donated the cans to a can recycling NGO.

UHAC: The eye test that wasn’t

uniontsa_poster_low_aotw

Great street ad from DraftFCB, Toronto. To get more people to get their hearing tested they created the above free eye test outdoor ad. When people read the small print they were alerted to the fact a speaker was playing a high pitched noise by the ad, if people failed to notice the noise they were given the details for a hearing check up.

Click on the ad to see the large image and give it a read.

Puma: Dance Dictionary

Great work from Puma. They hired top LA choreographer Super Dave to work with some of the world’s greatest Freestyle dancers to create a language of dance. The PUMA Dance Dictionary is a digital application that encrypts messages into dance moves, and allows you to share the personalised messages. You can try the site out for yourself at Dance Dictionary here.

ANAR Foundation: Only For Children

Brilliant work for the ANAR Foundation who handle the main child abuse helpline in Spain. The work uses lenticular printing to show 2 message on a street sign billboard, one aimed at adults (generally taller), and a second hidden message for kids (shorter).

If the person viewing the ad is under 1.3m (such as young children) then they will see the hidden message showing bruising on the child’s face in the poster, along with ANAR’s hotline number and copy that reads, "If somebody hurts you, phone us and we’ll help you." People taller than that—i.e., most parents—just see the child without the bruise and the line, "Sometimes child abuse is only visible to the child suffering it."and image on who to contact if someone is hurting them and they need help.

Work by Grey, Spain
