Dan Black: Syphonies

July 1, 2009 by admin

This recent music video called “Symphonies” by Dan Black has just become my new favourite music video, and I love the song too. Dan is signed at present by Polydor records and the above stunning video was the brain child of Corinne Bance-Black & Axel d’Harcourt from Paris based agency Chic & Artistic.

As a bit of fun, can anyone name all the film references? I got the following: Universal Pictures, Catch me if you can, Tron, Goldfinger, Blade Runner, Donnie Darko, Godzilla, Anatomy Of A Murder, Se7en, Lost Highway, Sin City, The Magnificent Seven, 2001: A Space Odyssey , Akira Kurosawa , John Carpenter’s The Thing.

Their new debut album “Dan Black, Un” is available on iTunes (click that link to order) and all good record stores from the 13-07-09. Click here to visit their MySpace page and listen to more of their music.
