Fantastic cheeky site from new Australian low-carb beer brand “Skinny Blonde”. The micro site was launched to help promote their new line of beer labels that use heat sensitive ink, when you hold the beer bottle the red lady’s bikini top fades away to reveal her naked breasts (see pic below). On the site you get to pick one of the Skinny Blondes, it then takes you to a short profile page with a picture of the relevant lady and a temperature gauge to the side. As you turn up the temperature gauge the relevant blonde just happens to reveal her breasts. Now of course I would never do this myself, this is just what I have been told !. Now go have a look for yourself at the Skinny Blonde site here. Stunning and I’m sure controversial work from owners Hamish Rosser, Richie Harkham, and Jarrod Taylor. (Would love to buy those chaps a beer, they even gave the girl a name: “Daisy” !) Great example of how using technology and breasts can get a new brand out there fast. To find out more about the Skinny Blonde company click here. UPDATE: The site was created by Brothers Ink (click here for the Skinny Blonde beer history and brief pdf) Bonus pic of the owners above !!!!

The ad initially looks like a government warning notice until you look closer at the advise below the headline:
- Stay in your home for the next ten weeks
- Wear one of those little blue face masks
- Watch The Chaser’s War on Everything from Wednesday 27 May at 9pm on ABC1
Best billboard I have seen for ages. The last one I thought was fantastic was the Scratch card one for the Ausi Outdoor awards also done by The Glue Society.

The prize for the award is pretty novel as the organisers have arranged for the winning agency to walk away with $10,000 of scratch cards that have been put up on a billboard by one of Sydney’s main highways (Parramatta Road if your in Sydney). Needless to say the billboard is being guarded 24/7 and hopefully the winning agency will walk away with a lot more than $10,000 when they scratch all the cards, which by the way they estimate will take up to 20 days to do. To promote the awards they drove an outdoor billboard truck over 10,000 km around Australia with the message "THE OUTDOOR AWARDS ARE COMING". The truck was on the road for 40 days and took in Alice Springs, The Red Centre, Broome, Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne before its return to Sydney at the end of November. To enter the awards you need to head over to www.outdoorawards.com.au and register your work before the 30th April 2009.

The ad is for Boag’s Draught Beers and is made by Mojo Sydney (cant find their web site, ideas welcome) who did the infamous legendary ads for Australia Tourism in 1984 with Paul Hogan (one shown below) Considering the tourism ads were pre Crocodile Dundee its incredible the effect they had. Australia went from being the 74th most desirable holiday vacation country for Americans to the 1st or 2nd and stayed like that for the next two decades !. Back on to beer ads click here for some top ten greats from Australia
