Another ad I have been looking for online appeared in my inbox today thanks to the wonderful people at Ogilvy Cape Town. Old school rapper Vanilla Ice was recently in South Africa to perform and Ogilvy and SAB managed to get him to shoot a quick ad for Castle Lite featuring his classic hit “Ice Ice Baby”.
The ad promoted the Castle lights new thermocromatic ink stickers which appear blue when at the beer’s ideal temperature for consumption is reached (extra cold). The spot was directed by Peter Pohorsky of Plank Films and the creative was from Ogilvy Cape Town Creative Director, Gordon Ray.
Great cheesy work guys and girls, love a bit of cheese every now and then.
